My ghostly picks for a haunted Halloween

With the 2011 Halloween season over, I’m thinking of the places and activities that I’d like to check out next year throughout October.  Listed in no particular order, here are 13 of them, an appropriate number for haunted travels.

  1. Fort Delaware
  2. Fort Mifflin
  3. Eastern State Penitentiary
  4. Laurel Hill Cemetery
  5. Cape May Ghost Tours
  6. Sleepy Hollow, N. Y.
  7. Arasapha Farms / Bates Motel
  8. Philly Ghost Tours
  9. Dracula Festival (Rosenbach Museum)
  10. Edgar Allen Poe Tour of Philly
  11. Gettysburg Ghost Tour
  12. Pennhurst
  13. Salem, Ma.
